Doors for the Braid Society AGM will be open from 10.30am.
Attractions include:
- a Sales table (you can bring items for sale)
- a see and share table (do bring interesting items along)
- the Travelling Exhibition (some 40 member exhibits from around the world on the theme 'Spring has Sprung')
- a competition 'Leads and lanyards' open to all (the entries will be judged on the day and will be used as lanyards for Braids 2016).
The AGM will begin at 12.00
The Society is delighted that the guest speaker after lunch will be Susan J Foulkes. Her talk is titled Belts around the Baltic: the craft and culture of weaving narrow bands
The day will end at about 4pm.
Attendees will be able to collect their copy of Strands 2015. Other copies will be mailed out following the AGM.
